This Excursion takes you on a scenic ride along the North Coast and through
Jamaica's rainforest and the hilly inland to the birthplace and final resting
place of legendary Bob Marley, king of Reggae Music.
Drive along the Coast before turning through the mountains to Nine
Miles, a quaint village in the beautiful mountains of St. Ann It was here, on
the 6th of February the legendary ˜King of Reggae" was born and it is the very
same place where he was laid to rest. A tour of Nine Miles is a family affair
as many of Bob's close relatives live there.
On the way, you will ride through several little villages and witness the
everyday life of the inhabitants, away from the tourist centres. Arriving at
Bob Marley's birth house, one of his relatives or friends will give you a
guided tour of the premises, visiting his house and museum, the famous stone
(Mount Zion Rock) where Bob used to relax and let himself be inspired by the
unique view overlooking the nine-mile valley-you can sit on it and feel the magicYour
guide will tell you the real stories about Bob Marley's life and answer questions.
After enjoying a typical Jamaican lunch, we
will visit the famous Dunns River Falls, Jamaica's # 1 attraction, - one of Jamaica's most iconic natural wonders and a climb up the falls
is on many must-do lists. Your specialized fall guide will explain that you
will join hands and form a human chain to climb the falls better. Those guests
who wish to skip the climb may wait at the bottom in one of the cool collection
pools. Or you may take a swim at the beach and relax.
